About
Hello, I’m Annabel
A veterinary physiotherapist with a lifelong love of animals, a calm approach and a soft spot for the oldies.

I started Annabel Webb Veterinary Physiotherapy in October 2025, and I still can’t quite believe this is my job. I treat horses, dogs and small animals across Norfolk and Suffolk, from my Wednesday clinic at Rackheath Vets and on visits to homes and yards.
Before physiotherapy, I spent almost two years working on the Equine Hospital Yard at Redwings Horse Sanctuary, and volunteered as a canine carer at Dogs Trust. Working with rescue and sanctuary animals taught me patience, and how much a calm, unhurried approach helps an animal feel safe.
I hold an MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy, which I completed with distinction, along with a BSc in Animal Science and Welfare. I am a registered member of the NAVP and the AHPR, fully insured, and committed to ongoing professional development in a field that keeps moving forward.
I have a particular interest in older animals and in rehabilitation after surgery or injury. I am often told there is “nothing that can be done” for an older dog or horse. That is rarely true, and helping them stay comfortable is some of the most rewarding work I do.

My first year brought a Master’s distinction, a clinic at Rackheath Vets, my 100th patient and the move to full-time veterinary physiotherapy. Thank you to every owner who has trusted me with their animals, from the biggest to the smallest.

We can’t recommend Annabel highly enough! At the beginning of May, our beloved labradoodle Eddie had developed a severe limp, but she worked her magic to start him on the road to recovery and provided guidance on exercises we could do with him between her sessions. He has responded really well – from being unable to walk for more than two minutes without collapsing, he can now manage a walk at a good pace for over half an hour – we’re aiming for an hour in the next few weeks! Thank you Annabel!
Annabel is so good with my dog, she is calm which keeps him calm. Bertie, my cocker spaniel is doing well under her supervision after elbow surgery and the guidance she gives to me to keep the exercise up in between her visits has helped no end. Even my other dog likes to join in so as not to miss out on her visits and Annabel gives her attention too, they love her. I have recommended her to several people that have dogs with post op issues that I know she could really help with.
I couldn’t rate Annie high enough, she is amazing with the horses and is extremely knowledgeable. Me and Patch are looking forward to our next session!
Annabel was wonderful with my elderly Lhasa Apso. She was kind, knowledgeable and very gentle with him during a home visit and took the time to explain everything she was doing. It was reassuring to have such professional support at home and I would highly recommend Annabel to anyone looking for an animal physiotherapist.
Finding Annabel has been a true blessing. Our little Bruno had muscle wastage in his back end and was in pain and discomfort. Annabel was everything you could ask for from the first contact. Her WhatsApp communication was efficient, friendly, and very thorough and thoughtful. This gave me comfort, confidence, and hope. What more could you ask for! Following that, our 3 appointments so far have been calm, yet packed with assessment, treatment, information and guidance. Annabel is always so personable, explains things so clearly, and is of course great with Bruno. You can tell she is passionate about what she does. I am sure I could say more, but ultimately, if you’re looking for a dog physio, look no further! Thank you Annabel for helping Bruno. It will be slow progress, but we are already seeing the benefits. We are all so grateful!
Annabel supports my two labs with professionalism and kindness. She is invariably friendly, takes time to explain exercises in detail and answers any questions with a deep knowledge and sensitivity to each dog. Her skills are top notch and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for advice and care.
We are so impressed with the physiotherapy care Annabel provided for our dog, Autumn. She did a detailed assessment and worked with her carefully during each session, and Autumn really took to her straight away. Even after two visits, we’ve noticed a real improvement. Her expertise, kindness and dedication truly stand out. We highly recommend her. Thank you Annabel!!
We met Annabel when Chris Tomlinson at Rackheath Vets suggested she may be able to help our 10 year old Labrador Mabel who needed help lifting her back leg when she walked. This is a dog who had many visits to vets in her early life as she needed two separate hip replacements. With each visit for x-rays, operations and regular checkups, Mabel became very anxious, shivered, shook and panted once inside the door of every veterinary practice. This all changed the day we came to visit Annabel earlier this year for an assessment. Annabel took time to get to know our nervous dog, making eye contact with her, playing games and giving her praise and treats as rewards. These visits have been so successful as Mabel now bounds out of the car, can’t wait to run through the door to see her friend Annabel and then to play games which are helping strengthen her leg muscles so that she walks with ease again. To achieve this, Annabel gave me a list of exercises (Mabel sees them as games!) to work on at home. These are sent by email, clearly laid out and simple to follow. Some change with each visit so there are small challenges ahead each time. With three dogs in our home, we often have the others following behind Mabel just like the Seven Dwarfs as she leads the way doing her exercises. Her leg is certainly gaining strength and the unexpected bonus is that we now have a dog who loves visiting the vet surgery whether she’s seeing Annabel or one of the vets. Thank you Annabel. With love, licks and cuddles from Marian and Mabel
Absolutely fantastic manner with my dog and myself and couldn’t be more helpful if she tried.
