About

Hello, I’m Annabel

A veterinary physiotherapist with a lifelong love of animals, a calm approach and a soft spot for the oldies.

I started Annabel Webb Veterinary Physiotherapy in October 2025, and I still can’t quite believe this is my job. I treat horses, dogs and small animals across Norfolk and Suffolk, from my Wednesday clinic at Rackheath Vets and on visits to homes and yards.

Before physiotherapy, I spent almost two years working on the Equine Hospital Yard at Redwings Horse Sanctuary, and volunteered as a canine carer at Dogs Trust. Working with rescue and sanctuary animals taught me patience, and how much a calm, unhurried approach helps an animal feel safe.

I hold an MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy, which I completed with distinction, along with a BSc in Animal Science and Welfare. I am a registered member of the NAVP and the AHPR, fully insured, and committed to ongoing professional development in a field that keeps moving forward.

I have a particular interest in older animals and in rehabilitation after surgery or injury. I am often told there is “nothing that can be done” for an older dog or horse. That is rarely true, and helping them stay comfortable is some of the most rewarding work I do.

Over 100 animals, and counting

My first year brought a Master’s distinction, a clinic at Rackheath Vets, my 100th patient and the move to full-time veterinary physiotherapy. Thank you to every owner who has trusted me with their animals, from the biggest to the smallest.

We can’t recommend Annabel highly enough! At the beginning of May, our beloved labradoodle Eddie had developed a severe limp, but she worked her magic to start him on the road to recovery and provided guidance on exercises we could do with him between her sessions. He has responded really well – from being unable to walk for more than two minutes without collapsing, he can now manage a walk at a good pace for over half an hour – we’re aiming for an hour in the next few weeks! Thank you Annabel!
